THE WAITING GAME, PT. II
July 16th | 2010
Our first submission of ChromaWaves was unfortunately denied months ago due to a small bug. Unfortunately, as well, fixing small bugs takes much longer than one imagines when resources become split and team-members are beginning to move ahead with their lives. However, we've finally gotten the chance to look into any outstanding issues and resubmit the game, so check back every so often for updates on our progress.
Thanks for being patient everyone!
THE WAITING GAME
April 12th | 2010
Some exciting news: we've just submitted ChromaWaves to Apple for approval on the AppStore. Some not so exciting news: all we can do is wait. More info on an official release date in the near future.
PROFESSORS ON A PODCAST
March 12th | 2010
Episode two of our podcast mini-series features Associate Professors Marc Buchner (CWRU) and Knut Hybinette (CIA), who joint-taught the Game Production course in which ChromaWaves was produced. Listen here for the perspective on student game devleopment that's seldom explored.
In other news, we recently opened up Facebook and Twitter pages, so click one (or hopefully both) of the icons above to keep track of us as we put the finishing touches on ChromaWaves throughout the month.
CHROMAWAVES Website Launch!
February 26th | 2010
Welcome to the official site for ChromaWaves, an ambient color mixing game coming soon to the iPhone and iPod Touch!
As part of our launch, The Modcast produced a four-part podcast featuring how we developed ChromaWaves and what goes into a game design education. Part 1, featuring Lead Programmer Chris
Jennewein, Generalist Programmer Felix Yuan, Lead Artist Jim Wiser, and User-Interface Designer Matthew Barton, is available now for listening here.
ChromaWaves was developed by a dozen students between the Cleveland Institute of Art and Case Western Reserve University.
Thanks for visiting, and be sure to check back often for future updates, more media, and additional podcasts leading up to the official release at the AppStore.
